2026 Member Terms
- Summer – 675 Hours – 13 weeks, including 1 partial week (12.75 wks) – 1 training + 11.75 projects
- Fall – 675 Hours – 10 weeks, including 1 partial week (9.75 wks) – 1 training + 8.75 project
When are timesheets due?
- An OnCorps timesheet period covers two weeks, with weeks being Sunday through Saturday
- Timesheets should be submitted shortly after the end of a period (ideally within one week)
Hours that may not be counted:
- Prohibited activities
- Sleep
- Personal time (non-crew activities in town, time off/away, sleep, etc.)
Types of Service Projects:
- Trail maintenance/construction
- Invasive species management or removal
- Structure/boardwalk installation
- Plant propagation or native planting
- Herbicide application
Crew Support:
- Prepared meal for the crew
- Set up and or break down campsite, or camp chores
- Crew meetings and non-project-day planning, including weekly meal planning and preparation
- Tool maintenance and equipment cleaning
Additional Areas:
- Attended a project partner training/meeting/event
- Volunteered to assist with a community project
- Crew non-project recreation (hike, canoeing, etc…)
- Environmental education program/activity (museum, botanical garden)
Trainings:
- All days prior to Camp Ehawee departure for the first project are to be logged as training
- AmeriCorps Orientation / WisCorps Orientation / Sexual Harassment Training, Conflict-Resolution / Timesheet Training / Wilderness First Aid (WFA) / CPR

Standard Member Weekly Service Hours – 45 project/training hours + 25 non-project hours = 70 hours per week
Training Day = 12 hours
Project Day = 12 hours
Non-Project Day = 6 Hours
Sick / Camp Recovery Day = TBD hours
- Your hours will be reduced, but you will likely be able to complete crew support tasks such as camp organizing/cleaning or meal preparation.
Pre-Approved Time Away Day = 0 hours
- If you are separated from the crew all day, you should list zero hours. If you serve with the crew and leave midday, your hours will stop upon departure.
DAILY DESCRIPTION EXAMPLES:
- Training Day – AmeriCorps Orientation, camp overview, project site and tool training, prepared dinner, and crew teambuilding. (12 hours, training)
- Project Example Day – Morning camp chores, crew stretches and safety, MTB trail construction with CAMBA, prepared dinner for crew, and camp clean up. (12 hours, direct service)
- Non-Project Non-Travel Day – Camp chores, food resupply shopping, crew hike at Copper Falls State Park (6 hours, direct service)
- Travel Day – Camp chores, break camp, traveled to new project, set up new camp (6 hours, direct service)
