14.5 Weeks @ 83 Service Hours Per Week = 1,200

45 Project Hours + 40 Non-Project Hours = 85 Hours per week (30-hr. buffer)


Training or Project Day? 13-15 hours per day


Non-Project / Weekend Day? 8-10 hours per day


DAILY DESCRIPTION EXAMPLES:


Training Day – AmeriCorps Orientation, camp overview, project site and tool training, prepared dinner, and crew leader teambuilding. (15 hours, training)

Project Example Day #2 – Morning camp chores, crew stretches and safety, MTB trail construction and maintenance tools & tree removal with CAMBA, prepared dinner for crew and camp clean up, crew teambuilding and camp management. (15 hours, direct service)

Weekend Non-Travel Day – Camp chores, food resupply shopping, crew hike at Copper Falls State Park, (12 hours, direct service)

Travel Day – Camp chores, break down camp, traveled with crew to new project site, weekly meal planning and prep, help set up new crew camp, crew teambuilding exercise. (10 hours, direct service)
